No matter how bad your day is going, they can always be the ones who cheer you up and trust me. A bad work environment with good people surround you can brighten your day up way more. Dont let others to bring you down as long as you are with the good ol’ bunch. 🙂
Title says it all. Here’s some interesting facts about me. 😡
I am not only a food/coffee addict but I think I fell into that sneaker game. Started with a pair of Nike SB then moved to my first pink Jordan when I was 14. Then I had a gap in between moving towards the Vans Classic SlipOn – I mean how can you not want to cop one of ’em when you were a teenager.
Slowly as Adidas set up their game with UB. I went up to 5 stores just to look for UB OGs and I got one for just 400ringgit back in M’sia then moving into uncaged and now… I dont even know what team am I on anymore.

Not a big expert on Photoshop but here are some of my creations.

Suffering through the gloomy day in Auckland? Dont you worry, get your camera out and snap ’em all. Trust me. The after rain lighting is perfect for you to explore ’cause you see more than just dammed surface. It’s more than that, colour seems to stand out more once you look into that view finder through your camera.
Suffering through the coldest morning of the year? Waking up lack of passion and motivation on this Monday morning.
One way to cure it, would always be a good cup of coffee and I mean, a f*cking good coffee.
The Return of Rad at Mt.Eden would be your choice! Uses Rocket Coffee, offer the basic black & white but also filters. Range from Aeropress and Cold Drip. If you’re not a big fan of coffee like I am, RAD has also got smoothies.
Kindly reminder if you would like to have brunch, they are quite busy during the weekend so make sure you go before the rush hour or maybe just get ready to wait for their delicious Vietnamese inspired brunch menu! 🙂
Sorry to disappoint y’all. It’s not spicing up your life but sometimes all you need it’s just a little spice for your brunch.
After a whole week of brunch, you just feel like you need some kick to your lovely tastebud. Well, introducing you the perfect combination to Auckland shitty weather. Eden Noodles Cafe just located less than 5 min from CBD, a kindly reminder to you foodies. GO EARLY TO GET A SEAT if you are to dine in ’cause they open at 11am and there’s literally a line before they open the store.
I got there roughly 11:25am and yes we are lucky enough to get the very last table available. To be honest, you can never get disappointed with Eden Noodle ’cause it is amazing.
When you place your order, you get to choose how spicy you want for your noodles/appetisers. Trust me, their mild is good enough and if you’re someone who likes spicy go for medium but I wouldn’t try spicy spicy ’cause your arse will be exploded by night or the next morning. I aint even kidding ’cause it’s so worth it, you need to try whenever you’re around!
What I like the most about this store is their dumpling, it’s perfectly cooked and soaked in their special sauces. We got spicy sauce but it was more towards sweet and sour with a hint of spice. That flavour can literally spice up your day!! *tiny tip, you need to mix the sauce with the dumpling when it comes or else they would all just stick together at the end. 🙂

If you live on the Shore and don’t feel like driving over the bridge for brunch. Don’t worry! Drive towards Highway 18 ’cause you wont regret it (I promise). 🙂
The Collins at Greenhithe Road have got your back, it has your ordinary eggs on toasts and also the fancy as French Toast! If you are ever around, give it a go ’cause it taste more like  deep-friend tofu where you can get from Chinese Restaurants but better! It is brioche bread cut in cubes coated with macadamia nuts and cornflakes with a hint of egg flavour as you bite into it.
The Collins uses Atomic for their coffee, there’s smoothie and whole range of tea available as well but even better they do alcohol as well. The cafe has a huge outdoor area dedicated for kids as well as your furry pets, indoor is divided into different section for you to hangout with your mates/family!
If you’re a sweet tooth like I am, I went back the next day to try their waffle cause they change seasonally! This weekend they had Red Velvet waffle, instead of placing red velvet crumbles on top of your ordinary waffle. Their waffle itself is red velvet!!! It is to die forrrrrrrr.
GO TRY IT BEFORE THEY CHANGE IT!
Are you a burger fan?
Well, I can tell you I am not but my mates were having a crave for ’em. So we decided to try out The Bearded Clam, unfortunately last week was a ticketed event… We didn’t end up going but change our mind to Tiger Burger, located in Grey Lynn just 10 min from CBD. I can tell you their bun is so dzamn soft but churchy at the same time – not crumbly at all!
Got their Kimcheese Fries to share and the name says it all. It’s kimchi with cheese on fries top with some spring onion. *that kick is good*
We tried Gang-Jeong burger too which is their fried chicken thigh burger, its good too but if you’re not a fan of spicy food you might just go with the Bossam. It’s the pork belly burger, that melts in your mouth balanced with the picked mu. :3Â *slurp
